Posting has been light the past few weeks and while I was going to say I’m sorry, I guess I’m really not! I’ve been enjoying a mellow season, a really giddy 4 1/2 year old and some really beautiful and peaceful christmas spirit that’s surrounding me and my family.

I have the winner of the “giving is awesome” giveaway, and let me say this woman deserves it! She’s a mother or two beautiful girls, both full of spirit. She works really, really hard both in the workplace and as a mom. I’ve actually know the winner for a long time and I’m so, so happy to be able to not only photograph her beautiful family, but to give her  something she would never give herself.

So, everyone - I wish you joy and peace and hope that your days are filled with laughter, friends and family this holiday season.

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

I know, I know. Who wants to hear about the holidays this early? But really, if you want cards or presents, now is the time to book your holiday sessions!

Once again I’m offering a Special Holiday Setting.
Two Friday/Saturdays - November 14, 15 (full!) and  the 21st & 22nd at Julliard Park in Santa
Rosa. For $125, you’ll get a mini 1/2 hour session and 20 free 5×7 holiday
cards or 4×6’s for your own holiday card inserts. Please email me as soon as
possible for a slot on these days, as I will fill them quickly!  I’m
booking from 10-2, so let me know your day and time preference!

another session, remember that I can create holiday cards from your prior

I had a very hard time deciding what images to share from yesterday’s wedding. All the portraits we took were so much fun, and the bride and groom were both so stunning… and so comfortable in front of the camera! I could hardly get them to stop smooching.

We had a fun engagements session this afternoon! We’re finally getting some real fall weather and along with it, some really beautiful color… I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek.

What a weekend, what a celebration! Saturday I met Anna & Mike at their rehersal “picnic” at the Andretti Winery - Then on Sunday their ceremony was at the sweet little St. Joan of Arc church in Yountville, and their reception at the fantastic Tra Vigne in St. Helena.

I want to thank you again for having me be a part of your celebration. Your families are so welcoming and accommodating and every part of your day was truly filled with love. It’s obvious to me that you guys have a special connection - and plenty of familial support and role models for amazing relationships! Enjoy your honeymoon, and we’ll talk when you return!

This was a quick family session in beautiful Ragle Park. We dodged a bullet and managed to get shots without rain!

I’m so sorry! I meant to post this sneak peek right away, and the days just plain got away from me.

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family in the most beautiful location I’ve been to in a long time. I contemplated trying to sneak off and live in their garden, but I’m guessing they would have noticed eventually!
